Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 11:38AM The BET awards in were LA once again. This year, like last year my buddy video Benny Boom asked me to DJ his pre-award party last night. During the day before the party went down I stopped by the Shrine Auditorium to score a few interviews for SmashTime Radio. Rihanna, Common, Young Buck, Swizz Beatz, Chris Brown, Lupe Fiasco, Eve, Bun B, Mike Epps and many more stopped by to be guests on my show. Shout to Melissa from JAM'N 94.5's Boston morning show. At night the party for famed music video director Benny Boom went down at "The Day After," the place was rammed, not to mention the DJ booth was 10 times more packed then the club. Ne-Yo, Mario, Akon came thru and DJ Clue co-hosted the party alongside me! People got turned away left and right from the door, how wack is it when security let's you slide in and you point out the people that are with you, then there is always some loser that tries to squeeze in your crowd & slide in?
