Last year I approached Chester French with an offer to collaborate with them on a mixtape to help promote their upcoming album "Love The Future." While they appreciated my enthusiasm and ideas to help, they wanted "Love the Future" to be the World's first taste of CF. A few months ago, though, they caved into my relentless advances and agreed to work on a this project with me. I convinced them that this project would be special and more than just a mixtape. Since then we've had an amazingly fun time making the free album that you're about to experience.
"Jacques Jams, Vol. 1: Endurance" is a chronicle of the past six years of D.A. & Max's (Chester French) lives. It tells their story, from the gymnasiums of Harvard to the hills of Hollywood. Unlike "Love the Future," which they written, arranged, performed, produced, and engineered by themselves, "Jacques Jams" features a collection of new, original music and hilarious skits that we all created in the hills of Massachusetts and then invited some of our favorite artists to grace.
We assembled an all-star cast of music legends like Jermaine Dupri, Diddy, Pharrell, Pusha, Talib Kweli, Bun B., The Mad Rapper, Kardinal Offishall, N.O.R.E, and Jadakiss as well as younger friends like Janelle Monae, Cassie, Wale, Solange, Ben Lyons, Lady Gaga, and Mickey Factz.
This month will be pivotal for Chester French as they put out "Love the Future" through Star Trak / Interscope records on April 21st. We hope that you will continue to tell all of your friends and family about Chester French's music and movement. Consider yourself an ambassador of their VIP Concierge Service, which anyone can join for free at www.chesterfrench.com. Please encourage everyone you meet to visit their site and join. Every single new supporter truly takes them one step closer to sustaining their touring and recording. As always, we love to hear from you so respond to me on Twitter or call me any time at 617-671-0670 with any ideas you might have for how we can better spread the word!
Chester French "She Loves Everybody" (Clinton Sparks & DJ Snake Remix)
Get familiar with this amazing new remix of Chester French's single "She Loves Everybody." Me and my DJ/Producer partner DJ Snake from Paris just finished it this weekend, look out for a new project him and I are producing this summer called "Shut It Down."
You might ask yourself "why should I download this???" well the answer is: If you want co cause pleasure and anger at the same time then you need this in your life...
If you want to create severe brain damage and orgasmic pelvic gyrations at the same time then you need this in your life...
If you want to be a totally normal guy doing extraordinary things with massive amounts of endurance then you need this in your life...
This remix will cause instant chaos and excitement on the dance floor, get familiar with it ASAP!
Check out me and Chester French in the studio working on a track called "CIROC Star" for their new mix-tape I'm orchestrating. The newest member of Chester French, Levar Burton also joins the jam session!
With Chester French's debut album "Love The Future" in stores April 21st, we linked up to create an audio masterpiece that tells the story of why they "Love The Future," find out what's going to be in that story:
I'm at it again but this time with one of the hottest new pop bands, Chester French aka D.A & Max! We teamed up to create an audio movie with a score of all original music written, produced and performed by Chester French.
This mixtape is pure entertainment with humorous skits, interludes and a few surprise guest features that will take you on a journey with D.A. & Max from their Harvard days where they formed their band and hooked up with a few "Nerd Girls," to Hollywood where they were partying and getting kicked out of clubs, got a record deal and subsequently were sucked into the Hollywood life before buckling down and finishing their debut album.
I've been in the studio nonstop for the past few weeks putting this masterpiece together, and for those of you who are not yet familiar with Chester French, after this project you will become a fan of their unique, creative sound and understand why KanYe West, Jermaine Dupri and Pharrell Williams all wanted to give them a record deal! They ultimately signed with Star Trak/Interscope and their debut album "Love the Future" is slated to drop April 21st, but in the meantime GET FAMILIAR with my new collaboration with Chester French, set to drop this March. While you wait for it to drop, help me and Chester French come up with a title for our new mix-tape. Twitter us your suggestions:twitter.com/clintonsparks, twitter.com/dachesterfrench, twitter.com/maxwellcf

1st mixtape for the new year, I told ya'll I was coming strong, get familiar with Strong Arm Steady. My brotha Talib Kweli asked me to help him spread the word about his group Strong Arm Steady, so we got together to present the "Gang Mentality" mixtape, available now to download!
As an added bonus check out this new joint from another artist you need to get familiar with by the name of Tyga, off his new mixtape "The Free Album," that I just finished dropping Monday:
Happy New Year everybody! I hope you all had a great 2008, I know I did, and I intend on 2009 being even better! I have a lot of great stuff happening and of course a gang of projects dropping this year. A lot of people hit me inquiring about new mixtapes and when ill be dropping. Well, first off I have a new phone number for anyone to hit me up so I can personally let you know what's happening... that number is 617-671-0670, so hit me anytime.
So about the mixtapes, I have multiple mixtapes that I'm getting ready to drop in the next 2 months that I'm excited about. I am wrapping up an awesome project with my boy Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes (if your not familiar, this is an authentic MC that some may not recoginize because he's in a band, but trust me if you were unfamiliar you will definitely be familiar when we drop). Also any true hip hop head will be a fan of the concept we are running with. Shout out to the legend Jazzy Jeff (Hint). Speaking of Travis McCoy, I just finished his cousin Tygas mixtape which has exclusive features Lil' Wayne. I told him that people don't really know much about who he is so we'll be clearing that up and answer some questions on this mixtape. I also linked up with my brother Rick Ross and E-Class to put together a new Poe Boy project featuring Rick Ross, Flo-Rida, Brisco and the Poe Boy roster as well as I just finished a mixtape with Talib Kweli promoting his group Strong Arm Steady.
Anybody that's a fan of my hip pop rockstar mixtape series should be into my 3rd installment which I'm still working on and I have my boy Lil' Jon involved with this one... Last but not least, well at least for the 1st 6 weeks of 2009 the project I'm most proud of and worked the hardest on is my new yet to be titled mixtape album featuring all new production by myself featuring artists like Ludacris, Rick Ross, Jim Jones, Common, Fabolous, D-Block, Supastar L.T., Yung Joc, Lloyd, Ray-J, Sean Kingston, Cassidy, Bun B, Paul Wall, Kardinal Offishall and of course Akon which will be dropping in February. Oh and of course the Clipse will be on this project which you may have already heard the leak titled "Still Got It 4 Cheap" which is the single from this project. All of these things are just to kick off 2009 and get ya'll ready for my official album dropping later in the year. I also have a number of other mixtape projects aside from the forementioned that I'll be dropping a little later with Fabolous and Sean Kingston.
I'll also be introducing to the world my artist who goes by the name of Supastar L.T., we got HITS!!! I will be introducing him to ya'll on that mixtape album project I just mentioned as well as releasing his mixtape simultaneously. Trust me, if you know anything about me then you know I do not get involved with wackness and to be honest I've decided I was not going to work with an artist ever again about 2 or 3 years ago because I've tried many times only to deal with ungrateful, unappreciative, impatient people that don't get it, as talented as they are, they just didn't have faith and it became more of a headache so that was the point I decided to focus on ONLY me instead of trying to make others stars, I mean let's face it, there's no one better to invest in than yourself. I guess it just took me awhile to figure it out. Anyhow I met this dude and was extremely impressed. He's from Houston, lived in New Orleans amnd now resides in my hometown of Boston and incase it ran through you mind, I wouldn't take on an artist because I felt the need to, I got involved because he is that Dope!
I also plan on dragging some more of these rock bands into the mixtape world like the Fall Out Noy project I did. BTW, all of these mixtapes are available for free download on this website (www.clintonsparks.com). Anyhow, I have so much more to share with you all but I'll just leave it at the mixtape update for now. I am in the airport on my way to Shanghai to smash it down for New Years Eve with my boy Ben Lyons and CIROC Ultra Premium Vodka at M1NT, so you know its going to be smash-time in Shanghai. BTW, on New Years day I'm on a tv show with Paula Abdul on MTV titled Paula Abdul's RAH Cheerleading competition, of course, I'm the DJ on the show. Don't forget every week in Las Vegas I do a huge party called SmashTime Saturday's in Body English the nightclub inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino along with my partners from the The Daily 10 on E!, Sal, Ben & Catt, come Party with us!! Get Familiar, Sparks, out!

So I wanted to write a blog thanking all of you who have followed my career and have excepted my experimental sometimes not what you would expect of me projects. A lot of people know me strictly based off from my Hip Hop history whether it be mixtapes or my radio shows, DJing in the clubs or my production. Well, I have always been a fan of music ranging from Michael Jackson to Oasis to De la soul and big daddy kane to kanye West & Jodeci to twisted sister, Metallica to Duran Duran & Weezer to Common & Biggie. I love and have been influenced by all genres of music. I was the kid that would go to the store & steal Word up & Circus magazines as well as Mad & Fangoria but that's another story. Anyhow, due to my success in Hip Hop it has allowed me to work with artist & bands that are not Hip Hop per say. Most recently I was able to work with Fallout Boy on a CD project titled "Welcome to the new administration". Its very cool to have those that would respond favorably to a hip hop project of mine just as enthusaistic to this project & I want to thank you all for that. The CD was downloaded just off from friendsorenemies.com alone over 50,000 times in just the 1st 2 days....Needless to say I have a lot more projects in the works & hope u like them as well. Check out what Rolling Stone magazine had to say about the tape and also for your viewing enjoyment. I was able to attain the behind the scenes footage of my day with Pete & Patrick doing interviews for MTVnews & E!.......Get Familiar & Enjoy!

The 11th Annual Mixtape Awards ceremony went down last night without a hitch, which was the exact opposite of what happened last year. I won Best Mashup Mixtape DJ, keeping the streak alive of winning a Justo 2 years in a row. Last year I won, Best Club DJ. It's an honor to receive a Justo, which is like the Grammy's for DJ's.
