Get Familiar this Saturday, May 23rd, 2009, Jermaine Dupri (www.global14.com) is bringing his Ocean's 7 crew (Nelly, Bryan Micheal-Cox, Johnta Austin, Tyrone, Bow Wow, Trey Songz) to SMASHTIME! to celebrate Memorial Day weekend! The girls from Peep Show will also be in the building to come check the guys from the Daily 10 on E! along with Stephanie Pratt, DJ Green Lantern and a special surprise guest performance!

I performed at SXSW in Austin, TX this year. When I say performed, I didn't just DJ. I debuted 3 new songs that I will be releasing this year. I DJ'd as well and played hypeman for DJ Class. Did a blackberry event in Washington, D.C., at the Shadow Room with Justin Bobby from the Hills... It's crazy how people get paid to come to the club just because you can see them on tv. Not for a special talent but just because. Now I'm not saying he has no talent because much like you that read this I was unfamiliar with the dude in the 1st place but when it came to doing something in the club, not so much going on! Oh Well, that's life! Aside from that he was a cool dude and the people in the club at the Shadow Room were cool as well as the staff and the owners. Shout to Ernest Skinner!
Anyhow, I'm in France now on a train to the airport to fly to Switzerland then back to France for a couple more gigs then I'll be back to the states on Nov. 15th in San Jose to Smash down the 1st stop on the XBOX 360 LIPS "I'm With The DJ Tour..." Little sleep, lots of work... Get Familiar!
Busy weekend! 1st Smashed it down on a yacht in San Fran on Friday with my boy Sean Kingston then me and him jumped on a plane to Las Vegas to celebrate Smashtime Saturdays 1 year anniversary as well as Halloween at Body English inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. (BTW - Watch the video coming soon! What DJs do that??). Then We started writing some records for his new album which are coming out Awesome! We got so many records we might do another album together before his official album. Then Sunday I hung out with my boy Nelly in Vegas to celebrate his bday. We discussed ideas for a new direction musically in his career and you would be surprised to hear what he's willing to do... You will inevitably Get Familiar with that but then we went to the club and rocked with my boy DJ Vice (aka my twin brother). Anyhow that was my weekend. Check out the video & pics. Hope u enjoy.

Shout out to Crooks & Castle for throwing a crackin party in LA last night. I Smashed it down that night alongside my boy Alchemist (Wait! is that Evidence in the cut behind us? Ha...) Also I had my boys LMFAO do a surprise performance. If your not Familiar with them, you need to seriously Get Familiar! Go google them now LMFAO....shouts to some other homies that came through. Big things once again at 'Smashtime Saturdays" with 'The Daily 10' on E!. Celebrated with my boy JJ who brought out his best friend Rob Kardashian and his Cheetah Girl-friend to the party to host. Michael Yo! from the Yo! on E! played ringside announcer letting the people know that we were in the building... Another weekend in the books, and our party at Body English the nightclub inside The Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas is getting bigger than ever. See you this weekend. You never know who might show up. This past week Boston was on Fire! 1st the Celtics beat out Detroit to make into into the NBA Finals then the #1 radio station in Boston, JAM'N 945 held their annual Summer Jam at the Tweeter Center. The line up was sick and the tickets were sold out. Everyone was on the bill from Rick Ross to Lil' Wayne. Shout out to the JAM'N staff... Shaileen, Geespin, the Ramiro & Pebbles morning show team, Melissa, Chris Tyler, Benny, Pup Dawg, Roy Barboza and of course big guns Cadillac Jack! I was running hectic that whole day from DJing for artists to conducting interviews for SmashTime Radio to introducing my artist Supastar L.T. to all my music buddies and of course clowning around. I DJ'd for Colby O'Donis, Ray-J and Ryan Leslie's performances as well as performed with Jim Jones as hype man and introduced my boy Trey Songs... Nothing feels better than your home town excepting & acknowledging your success and it was incredible to get an awesome response from the crowd of 15,000 people when they introduced me... I'm very proud to be from Boston and I represent it everywhere I go whether I'm on TV or in magazines, websites, radio interviews,etc. Go Sox!!!!! Btw - random thought, I went to go see Dane Cook at Ceasars palace in Vegas a week ago... He is one of the best comedians alive & I'm super proud of his awesome transitions to movies.
