JAM'N 94.5 Summer Jam 2008 in Boston

This past week Boston was on Fire! 1st the Celtics beat out Detroit to make into into the NBA Finals then the #1 radio station in Boston, JAM'N 945 held their annual Summer Jam at the Tweeter Center. The line up was sick and the tickets were sold out. Everyone was on the bill from Rick Ross to Lil' Wayne. Shout out to the JAM'N staff... Shaileen, Geespin, the Ramiro & Pebbles morning show team, Melissa, Chris Tyler, Benny, Pup Dawg, Roy Barboza and of course big guns Cadillac Jack! I was running hectic that whole day from DJing for artists to conducting interviews for SmashTime Radio to introducing my artist Supastar L.T. to all my music buddies and of course clowning around. I DJ'd for Colby O'Donis, Ray-J and Ryan Leslie's performances as well as performed with Jim Jones as hype man and introduced my boy Trey Songs... Nothing feels better than your home town excepting & acknowledging your success and it was incredible to get an awesome response from the crowd of 15,000 people when they introduced me... I'm very proud to be from Boston and I represent it everywhere I go whether I'm on TV or in magazines, websites, radio interviews,etc. Go Sox!!!!! Btw - random thought, I went to go see Dane Cook at Ceasars palace in Vegas a week ago... He is one of the best comedians alive & I'm super proud of his awesome transitions to movies. Once again Konvict music was in the building! This time newbie Colby Odonis came through our Smashtime Saturdays party in Body English at the Hard Rock in Vegas. II Trill

Dance tips for Carmen Electra, DJ'n with Duran Duran

This Saturday was another awesome night at Smashtime Saturday's at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Vegas. Method Man came through as well as Carmen Electra and I shared the set this with Roger Taylor of Duran, Duran... How crazy is that??? Tony Wang from the Hard Rock hit me earlier in the week asking me "Do you mind if the guy from Duran, Duran DJs with you?" I'm like "are u crazy? They are pop music icons... of course I don't mind" I'm all about 80's music. On the red carpet I gave carmen some dance tips on how you can cabbage patch to Guns N' Roses & she gave me tips on how to always just look straight & smile on red carpets so there's never a picture of you looking dumb... i.e., the pic of me looking up & laughing like a donkey! Stay tuned as we broadcast The Daily Ten on E! for an entire week live from the Hard Rock in Vegas June 9th-13th... That week is going to be insane!

In the studio with Akon and Colby O

After performing with Akon at Rehab at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, we went to the studio to work on mixing and sequencing records for Colby O'Donis' album with my good buddy Exit, who's an amazing engineer. As it stands now I produced 4 records for Colby's album and I have the 2nd single called "Don't Turn Back," which I'll be world premiering on SmashTime Radio this weekend. Kon also played me his album which is gonna be craaaaazy, his first single is gonna be featuring an icon is pop history so stay tuned for that. I may even have a joint on his album too. After listening to his album I played him some of Supastar L.T.'s album music which as you can see in the video clip below, he's feeling it! Look out for that Konvict collabo coming soon.

Akon, the Soprano and the Gossip Girl at Smashtime

I've been telling you about my party Smashtime Saturday's in Las Vegas at Body English in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Well, its getting bigger & bigger every week! We've had Ne-Yo,Trey Songs, Danny Masterson, Pitbull, Ray-J, Bun B, Duran Duran, Bon Jovi, Carmen Electra, John Krasinski and more. But this weekend was absolutely insane. My brother Akon came through and we shut it down all weekend. Body English was packed and the line was ridiculous! Once the club filled up and me, Sal & Ben entered the party is was on... After an hour of smashing down the party Akon made his way up on stage unannounced... Crowd went Crazy! Now you know I'm not going to let someone get on stage and not rock. He then went into an impromptu performance of all his hits from "Smack that" to "I wanna love you" and of course the record I produced & co-wrote "Sorry, Blame it on me" but that wasn't the end of the Smashing, the next day we headed out to Rehab (massive weekly pool party at the Hard Rock in Vegas) and rocked that as well. Shout out to Leighton Meester from Gossip Girl who hung out on stage with us and dude from Entourage. Can't forget Javon Walker from the Oakland Raiders or Floyd Mayweather aka Hockey Bag Boy who also rocked with us. Now go book your plane ticket, cuz you don't wanna miss another weekend of SMASHTIME. See you in Vegas! Iron Man movie premiere party

I DJ'd the Iron Man movie premiere party at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood last night. Iron Man is expected to do some big numbers at the box office this weekend, so go check it out, this movie is a must see, setting the summer off right for big blockbuster films like the new installments in the Indiana Jones and Batman franchises. They left my boy Ghostface out of Iron Man, but make sure you stay 'till the end of the credits to catch the Samuel L. Jackson cameo, damn that guy is a movie whore!
