Boost Mobile Rockcorps Concert In LA
Last night at the legendary Kodak Theatre, in Los Angeles, I co-hosted the Boost Mobile Rockcorps concert with Nick Cannon. The show was incredible, featuring performances by Young Jeezy, Nas, Korn, +44, Game and Rise Against! Nick Cannon and I even did a trading places skit where he was the DJ and I was the host comedian, after that we rocked out trying to figure out who could get wilder the rock fans or the Hip-Hop fans. Pitbull, SmashTime Spring Break Cancun '07
When Pitbull got to Cancun, the airline had lost his luggage, but he still came to The City and rocked the party, with me that night, no change of clothes, just roughed it out. The people loved him though and it was a great event, later on after he proceeded to give me advice on what I should be feeding my son. For the past 2 years I've done Spring Break down in Cancun, so this year once again I'm down here in Cancun smashing down some parties with a couple of my good friends like Fat Joe & Fabolous. Tonight DMX was supposed to host the party, but apparently he missed 2 flights, go figure! Fat Joe had performed the night before and Fabolous was set to perform on the next night, so I asked them to come through and host the night. This morning I was a guest on JAM'N 94.5's world famous morning show hosted by Ramiro the Freakin' Puerto Rican and co-hosts, Pebbles & Melissa. It was great to be home and back on JAM'N 94.5. For those of you who have followed me since early on in my career, I was formerly the stunt guy on the morning show back in 1998. A good buddy of mine Akrobatik is now on the morning show doing "The Sports Rap-Up," make sure you get his album when it drops this Summer. On February 26th, 2007, Clinton Sparks alongside MC Serch, Prince Paul & Dante Ross decided that Shamrock would be the next "great" white emcee of the new millennium and would home with 100K. It was Shamrock Vs. The King Of The Burbs aka John Brown that were put to the final test, discovering in the end that the music biz is pure hell. Only one emcee was white-hot enough to win, while the other one went down in flames and got told to "STEP OFF!"
